Arda is Middle-Earth and the Ainulindale is the original creation story from the Silmarillion, like the "Let there Be Light" portion of Genesis.  It's a comic strip of 50+ images, so linking is understandable.  Also I don't think JamesV is Evan Palmer, so not really self-promotion.

Ooh. I thought at first that this was The Silmarillion Project. I'm checking it out now.

I didn't mean to imply it was self-promotion. JamesV put up the link, ergo it was his link.  It does seem that every umpteenth thread I click on because I want to know what the damn title of the thread means turns out to be a god damn empty post with a link.  I'm getting cranky in my dottage, and I've always been a lazy cuss.  The faster computers work, the more I swear at them for running like a snail in a freezer.

Now that I know what its about, I can quietly ignore it.

Also: Get off my damn lawn!

I was pretty interested in the Silmarillion Project, but unfortunately the artist tends to post in fits and starts, and his enthusiasms tend to wander. This work however is complete, and gorgeous. A pretty cool interpretation, if you'd ask me.
