This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Not everyone is born to be an astronaut... err, English-speaker :haw:
(Reminds of that Chinese restaurant that was named "Fuk Mi".)

But why is this in the RPG channel? Shouldn't that be in Offtopic?

I don't know about German, but in English at least, Metheglin is a specific type of mead (containing spices).  A melomel is a mead brewed with the addition of fruits, while a braggot is a type of mead-beer (either honey with hops, or a honey/malt mixture with hops).

Damnit! So many choices in meads!

I have problems just trying to get brand-name mead at the local liquor store her in the states.

It's pretty uncommon here in Australia, too.  It is relatively easy to brew, but does take a long time to ferment.  Good mead can take up to 2 years to ferment and age nicely before being ready to drink.
