Wow, I'm one of the oldest 10 here?

I think I was on nutkinland too, but I don't remember much about it.  If I was, I didn't hang around there much.

Sounds like what Evil Avatar's become of late.  Only difference is most of the posters just went straight back like an abused spouse.

Pooka/Spoony was pretty rough emotionally back then.  Part of the motivation for starting the site was also feeling unloved for his efforts as an ENWorld programmer.  I think patching things up with Morrus is part of what led to his abandonment of this site.

He tried to have the chaos and pranksterism of Nutkinland/Nothingland but wasn't really able to pull it off.  New users tended to be frustrated more than intrigued.

It was a weird start.  Mahna mahna.

Michael also does the programming for the voting for the ENnies.

There's a goodly core still here. A ton left when Pundit took over--looking through the users gives you a blast from the past.

EDIT:  Mar 06 here.  Pretty darn old, but not old enough to crack that Top 10. :)
