This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The Mt. Pleasant Gaming Association (MPGA) returns to the campus of Central Michigan University after a nearly two-year absence tonight at 6 PM at the Strosacker Room (room 110) in Park Library. Any interested gamers from the area are heartily invited to attend, provided you bring a game or two with you . All types of games are welcome. Due to the location for this meeting we can't bring in food or drink; we are working on getting a better place where we can have those all-important munchies and pop for the gamers. If you live in the vicinity (or are fabulously wealthy and have your own private Jet ) please join us :)

A shame I'm a few years out of the area, as is most of my group. If I weren't suffering from a debilitating back injury currently that makes driving a living hell I'd drive up. GR is only what? Hour and a half? Two hours away?

At any rate have fun!

I have some good friends and former MPGA members who live in the GR area. They used to drive up here all the time until the gas cost became an issue as well as work schedules. Depending on how you go, you can make it in an hour and a half (and even drive the speed limit).

I know all about back injuries, believe me. If things get better you would certainly be welcome to join us.

I was so thinking of a different Mt. Pleasant when I saw the thread title.  :p
