Light Year Distance in the Star Trek universe...

At TOS warp 8 it might take around 4-5 months. Depending on what version of warp speeds one uses. Could be substantially shorter.
In my own RPg it would take about 5 months to cover 50ly at drive factor 8.

Do you have the map that we are talking about?
It was included in the "Star Trek Charts" book written by Geoffrey Mandel and published in 2002.
Find the Briar Patch aka "Klak Da Kel Brackt"
Start looking a little 'lower' or towards yourself - towards the bottom of map, but not the bottom.
"Starbase 11" or SB 11 should not be that far from Starbase 2.
Its 'there' - trust me.
Just wish I had a physical copy of it front of me.
I use it in my GURPS: Star Trek campaign....or want to again.

Have you tried googling for the map you want?
For instance, here is an article on FASA Trek maps:

Here is a Reddit article with a different but related map:

That one came up on a search for "star trek map okuda"

That is a scanned image of the REAL map that I used to have that I can't find. It was published and inserted in the back of the "Star Trek Charts" book.
They have used the gist of that map on both "ST Discovery" and "ST Picard". It has become the standard layout or gist of that universe.
I just needed one measurement - from the 'Briar Patch' to Starbase 11.
Nearby Half-Price books ordered me a copy of the book that might get to me before my next game session.

Any particular reason you can't open the image in the link, which is huge, and get the distance that way? Worked fine for me... (Looks like a little over 40)
