This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

One Horse Town

Whilst it wasn't totally dreadful, it certainly isn't the fantasy genre's answer to what Red Dwarf did for the comedy sci-fi genre.

I had no belly laughs, and only a few knowing smirks were dragged from me. The only character i thought was quite interesting and worked well as the straight man for the over-the-top Matt Lucus, was the valet - Barnabas? Some pretty good mugging from that actor.

I'll probably only give it one more chance, next week. However, i also seem to remember that even the mighty Red Dwarf didn't become required watching for me until well into the second series.

Ghost Whistler

"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

I thought it was pretty bad, too. Just not funny.
