Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Someone in the GOP really should have done a quick Google on 'tea bagging' before they started painting signs.

Tax-day protesters are not the ones who coined the phrase "tea bagging" to describe the event, as I suspect you're well aware.

However, that has utterly failed to stop them from adopting the term wholeheartedly.

As unsurprising is the 'no true Scotsman' argument being proposed after sensible people pointed out that, in fact, we do have representation regarding our taxes.

"The Problem: Taxation Without Genuine Representation"

Our elected officials aren't true representatives; no true representative would commit to such a travesty of tax justice.

One website does not a "them" or "wholeheartedly" make. However, googling the term does reveal gales of liberal laughter and mockery. No surprise there - minimilize it through contempt and derision! Marginalize the true believers even further by refusing to even acknowledge, much less discuss, what they feel to be legitimate complaints (and we're not talking about the factual basis or lack thereof - since when do facts sway people's passions - but clearly there are large numbers of people who think *something* is wrong and needs to be addressed). That always turns out well - G20 protests, anyone?

Next time out, they just need to vandalize some buildings and throw bricks and molotovs at the cops, I reckon, in order to be taken "seriously". Of course, nothing will be done regardless.

It's stunning how the 'activists for the people' party has suddenly switched over.

None of which has anything to do with the swine flu, of course.  A local pig farmer wanted to change the name to 'North American Flu' because the fallout was impacting their business.  Of course, the flu started in Central America, but we don't let the facts get in our way around these parts.

Not just your local farmer - borderline government policy now:

Ah, our wonderous modern world - where simply changing a name makes things better - or worse. I suppose they might have tried not panicking millions of idiots first, but that'd be less conducive to 24 Hour News (tm) viewing and "emergency" expansion of government power.

In two days they will rise again as zombies. And then it's all over.

I think you mean 'then the fun begins.'  :)

Speaking as a die-hard L4D player, I can say the zombie apocalypse is more fun if your shotgun quacks like a duck.

Ghost Whistler

It's good to have things to keep our minds from things like the bailout of capitalism, the corruption of the cops, the farce in the middle east and the constant erosion of our civil liberties.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.
