SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Because these folks must continuously prove how broken they are.

Apparently the Phelps family actually does shit like this specifically hoping that someone will slug them and sue for assault.  It is their means of getting funding.

I mean, a Chevette?  Good Lord!

My mom had a Chevette.

God I hated that car.  You had to load the rear end down with cinderblocks to keep it from fishtailing around corners in a light rain.

Only one thing to say: Time to bring back shunning.

That is to say, they want publicity. Any publicity. So, ignore them.

Maybe a few years of 'You are completely irrelevant' will drive the point home.
The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

Quote from: Thanatos02;233693That's true, but I'd still love to see someone sock them in the mouth.
Still, I kind of feel bad for them. I wonder what that kind of hate does to you. Most of these people are indoctrinated since birth. What a surreal, terrible life to lead.
We've been indoctrinated against birth, too, to hate different sorts of people, those who the people who indoctrinated us thought were abominations. We're just more tactful, and less motivated, but the hate's the same. We don't see it as clearly, because our standards more closely resemble the common standards of our societies, but when they stand in stark contrast - as with Phelps - they're quite noticeable.
When you\'re a bankrupt ideology pursuing a bankrupt strategy, the only move you\'ve got is the dick one.
