This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Get a gawd damned blog.

Since the majority of the threads in the RPG section are crap, and apparently some of you need a gawd damned blog.

So with out further adieu here are some sites you can express your personal emotional baggage:

Live Journal: It's free, and pretty customizable.

My Space: It's free, but crappy. And filled with even more teen angst than half the threads here.

E Blogger: Free. Some of you use it. Some of you gawd damned well should.

There is more obviously, but maybe this well help alleviate some of the teen angst high school musical damn threads that have clogged the RPG section of late.

Well, some of us start threads about roleplaying, but then others of us just reply to the "blog" threads, and not the rpg threads.

Not much we can do about it, really. If the genuinely roleplaying threads just die because guys like you don't reply to them, while the blog threads thrive because guys like you reply to them, then...

I know.

And really I shouldn't complain so vocally, I'm just having a moment. I think I'll go get something with root beer and ice cream in it. Always soothing.

I TRIED using the blog feature of this forum twice within this past week. It didn't work.
Just managed to change and personalize the title.

After my brother gave me an icecream maker, I got a little creative and made some Thai iced tea-flavored ice cream. Turns out that it makes really, really good root beer floats.

This is possibly the most valuable information I've read today.

I've got a blog. But you don't want to read it.
God in the Machine.

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.

I just won't register for another site so I can comment.

That's valid. But what I meant was that it's not likely of any interest to anyone here. Whatever I post here, no matter how juvenile or off-topic, is really designed to be read by people here as a matter I find of at least trivial interest.

Does therpgsite want to read my eulogy to my goldfish or me bitching about work hours? Probably not. Some rpg stuff is on there, but nothing I really feel is worth posting here because I don't think it'd be interesting enough to validate making a thread or no threads exist for it.

EDIT: On the off chance people really are interested in my personal life, though, there is a blog linked on my posts. I only keep one because my personal life *is* of interest to some people - mostly people engaged in my personal life already. Of the people on these boards I can imagine would care, I can only think of two, and to the best of my knowledge only one actually reads it.

SerPaul,
your double-layered-psychology-humour is getting weaker. This time I could really think you actually mean it.

Which would be pretty lame, as you are basically doing the same thing.
