SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

A video for somebody who we all know. . .

Ok, that was pretty damn amusing. It's like a better living primer for today's TV addled punk kid.

A lack of moderation doesn\'t mean saying every asshole thing that pops into your head.

That video reminded me - a scene pretty close to that happened in the store one time.

Two young guys came in really quick - to browse . I greeted them.  They failed to notice that we didn't have video games. When I pleasantly explained the type of games that we DID sell ...this is what I heard:

KID 1:"Lets get the fuck out of here... Sorry to bother you, man"

KID 2:"Ain't we gonna get something?"

KID 1: "These are games where you gotta know how to read motherfucker, and you can't do that for shit...now c'mon!"

In my example, KID 1 whispered when he cussed and actually seemed like he was trying to be polite.

Sadly, I've witnessed similar encounters in my times visiting the only worthwhile game store in Minneapolis: Phoenix Games.  Kids step in, see nothing electronic and lots of books, freak out and leave within seconds of arriving.  I've known people that won't read unless they have to- they hate it that much.

I was reading that, and pretty much was thinking, "Well, he was pretty well-behaved." (Er, I mean that without irony.)
God in the Machine.

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.
