This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. I have torn my ACL. I'll be out of action for a little while (up to six months). It's hard to type, so I won't be doing that so much either :D

Torn ACL? MY best gamer buddy had something like that a couple of years back, twisted his knee horribly in volleyball. He rang me up just before our scheduled game session to say, "I tore my knee..."
"Wow, that's terrible, mate. Rest well, and let me know when you're up for a visit and ready to game again."
"Oh no, I'm not saying the session is off. I don't need my knee to game! I was just going to ask if you could come to my place instead, since at the moment I can't drive."

I hope you'll get well soon, and show the same dedication to gaming as my buddy :D

I was going to say... ACL is a knee injury.  That would have to have been some knee injury to keep you from typing.

Egad.

Monkeyed up my clavacle (right side; fairly severe but barely just not a break) whilst in Uncle Sam's Part-Time Jackbooted Thuggery Brigade several years back so I feels for ya, mate.

Hopefully, ye shant be too debilitated for too long.

I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.
