This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Ronnie James Dio, the greatest hard rock vocalist ever, has died.

Much sadness.
“Ghost Whistler” is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.

I'll take issue with "greatest" but there's no doubt he was one of the greats (he's one of my top 3 for sure), and I share the sentiment.

RIP, Ronnie.

WTF? There were TWO threads about Dio yesterday, one of which I started myself. They were deleted? This is the third thread on theRPGsite about his passing. WTF is wrong with Dio, mods? Did he piss on your Cheerios or something?

of course everyone's opinions will differ, but the reason I say that is because, even at 67, he was still able to sing well and he sang hard. He never went all flat like Jagger, and despite the respect i have for Bruce Dickinson, even he couldnt always cut it live.

STOP POSTING RIP THREADS UNLESS THEY ARE RELATED TO RPGs.
