It just hit the web in all sorts of places, the trailer for the live action version of SPEED RACER. This trailer kicks ass!!

I think that title  has already been used for a movie.


 They actually filmed most of the movie in Barlin and parts of Germany and in front of a greenscreen.

If I am to tolerate the expense of a prime time movie ticket, and then tolerate the shit ads, the jackasses that can't be bothered to shut the fuck up or turn off their phones, and the prices for concessions (if I failed to bring in my own stuff), then I had better get the perfect fucking movie every single time.

Last time I stepped into a theater at prime time?  Return of the King.  It's just not worth the expense anymore, not when I can either download a film via the Peer-To-Peer networks, or rent it on DVD, and watch it at home where I've absolute control over the environment and can watch at my convenience; going to the theater anymore just isn't worth the hassle, and the "theater experience" can now be had at home.
