This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Bizarre looking film but could make an interesting alternate universe or future (created by hapless PC time travelers)

Remember when Illinois Nazis where a joke in the Blue Brothers movie?

Democracy, meh? (538)

"The salient fact of American politics is that there are fifty to seventy million voters each of whom will volunteer to live, with his family, in a cardboard box under an overpass, and cook sparrows on an old curtain rod, if someone would only guarantee that the black, gay, Hispanic, liberal, whatever, in the next box over doesn’t even have a curtain rod, or a sparrow to put on it."

When I run espionage games, my adventure generator is to treat the whackiest Left or Right wing panic issue as real and weave that into the adventure. The adventures practically write themselves. Amerigeddon would be perfect fodder for a Ninjas & Superspies game.

So...God is Not Dead: The War Film

I think even John Wayne just spun in his grave. But, funnily enough, looks like a great fodder for Kult/Call of Cthulhu Apocalyptic scenarios - the Endgame of the evil plot.
Furthermore, I consider that  This is Why We Don't Like You thread should be closed
