This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hello all. Just a few more stats for you all about the progress of the site.  I'm not sure if this won't be the last time I do this, given that its become overwhelmingly clear that the site is progressing nicely, and doesn't need to be closely monitored anymore.

As of Nov 28th, we had:
2603 threads
46175 posts
1064 members
313 of whom were active. (29.4%)

Today we have:
3021 threads
53375 posts
1300 members
489 of whom are active (37.6%)

That's an increase of
418 threads
7200 posts
236 members
and an 8.2 percent increase of proportional active members!

We are doing an average of 20 threads per day, compared to 14 threads per day as of the last 21-day report.
we're also averaging 11.2 new members per day, compared to only 3.7 new members per day as of the last 21-day report.

In short, I believe that at this point we have gained enough momentum on a natural level that it would take some serious fucking up for this site to end up having a fallback and dying. I'm pleased to say that, on the front of "sufficient membership and activity", we are secure.

Awesome.

By the way, do you have anything set up for anyone who might want to contribute funds toward keeping this site active?  It's probably mentioned somewhere, but if so, I've missed it.
For fuck's sake, these are games, people.

And no one gives a fuck about your ignore list.

Hmm.. I dunno.. is the companion still up and running? Come to think of it, I haven't heard about that in ages.

Sometime next year we will have to raise money in some way, so that we can pay some of our costs.  Don't know how much it will all come to.

The companion site is still up, but you need some way to give it exposure. Can you link it up the site's front page or something? Maybe put up a banner on the header of the main forum page.

Im not sure who could do that. I certainly know that I can't. I have no technical skills.  PM Pooka, Gruff, or Sojourner Judas about that.
