Zweihander Banned for Sockpuppeting

Others I've run into personally are SJG and White Wolf staff spying or infiltrating. Nothing Im aware of on the Sanguine level. But still a WTF moment. And along with those two's other screwups is part of why I detest both so much.

What sort of insecurity (or unmitigated arrogance) does it take to do stuff like this?

I used to think how secretive game companies were was weird. Non disclosure agreements and such. But really, if everyone was kind of in on it, I can see how the cloak and dagger aspect of it could be fun. But no, these are gamers we're talking about and they'll go over the line and take offense all the time.

I haven't seen much of this myself but that is interesting. I've very rarely encountered it directly since I started Bedrock, but I have had one or two interactions where someone pulled something slightly shady. In both cases though, it had zero impact on anything. In an industry this small with such low stakes, this sort of behavior just doesn't seem to fit very well. It is like someone who rigs their daughters soccer game.

If there is one thing my life has taught me its that some people will take some things considerably more seriously then there is any reason to and pull some super scummy garbage even its it doesn't make scene.
Like it will make them king of the world or some such.

Thank god he's gone. When he started pitching his WFRP retroclone idea over at Strike to Stun, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and even gave him some pointers. It became soon obvious to me that this guy is a talentless and arrogant human being who deserves no attention whatsoever.

Edit- I bet that all his peasants are still like ninjas. Gaining stealth benefits from 3 different sources.

Given that $800 backing losses in parking lots are usually more contentious than $50K six-car pile-ups with injuries, I think that has the ring of truth. Investigating the former always seems to end up being more work for me than the latter because of how worked-up the drivers get.
