Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You're all sick, angry people.

(Stating the obvious. I will now suspend myself long enough for the next page to load.)

Fuck you, cunts!  Everyone knows the only model for moderation is the Moderator/Poster model.  Only fuckwits would believe in some kind of distributed moderation approach.

Jesus Fucking Christ! Don't you Fucktards know if you deviate from the Moderator/Poster division, designed when forums were first created, you're not even taking part in a forum anymore?

Edited for typing errors - not spelling errors as that fucktard Werekoala claimed - butt-nugget.

Tone it down, James. Over-reliance on "/" could offend people who have trouble with dichotomy. Also, learn to spell. This is your last warning.

Really? 'Cause plum is hard to read on laptop screens. Maybe some mods should have plum colored mod voices and some should have purple.

Seanchai:  That's a brilliant idea.  People can pick a mod voice that either blends, or doesn't, based on how much they want to exert authority.  However, for commenting on moderation outstanding you must be punished.  The only punishment sufficiently painful:  YOU must now be a moderator!

My mod-voice is: white.

The white just proved the background is not quite white.

For your insolence, you will be banned...or not...depending on Pundit's most recent 24 hours of Pipe Smoking and Drinking intake.

Hmmmm.  It looks as if my mod voice is standing out the most.

Crap.  Time to change to 100pt bolded red font.

Yeah, I know.  I tried silver at first, but it stood out even more clearly.  Ah well :emot-sigh:

Thats funny, on my screen his white mod voice is invisible unless highlighted...

No sign of words at all except for his 'My Mod voice is:" bit...
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

For the curious: Apparently, in person, I sound exactly like the Youtube Character The Nostalgia Critic.   I have no words.

Excellent, excellent.

Now that I am a moderator, I declare today to be Whimsy Moderation Day. Here's how it works: Roll on the tables below and apply the results. Good luck!

Are you guilty? Roll 1d6
1. You're a kiss-ass. No moderation for you!
2. You haven't done anything—yet. We've got our eye on you.
3. Collateral damage. You got hit by a stray mod bullet. Roll on the tables below.
4. Surprise! You're the vicitim of a sudden rules change. Roll on the tables below.
5. Surprise! You're the vicitim of the sudden creation of a new heretofore unmentioned rule. Roll on the tables below.
6. You did what the mods themselves do, but, surprise!, it turns out that's against the rules. Roll on the tables below.

What are you guilty of? Roll 1d6.
1. You were a dick.
2. Trolling.
3. Being intentionally obtuse.
4. Thinking bad thoughts/planning to do something against the rules someday.
5. Making a group attack against an individual.
6. Said Cessna was a bad moderator.

What's your punishment? Roll 1d6.
1. Public ridicule by the mods.
2. Temp ban and public ridicule by the mods.
3. Temp ban, public ridicule by the mods, invitation extended by mods for public ridicule by entire site.
4. Perma ban and public ridicule by the mods.
5. Perma ban, public ridicule by the mods, invitation extended by mods for public ridicule by entire site.
6. Blissful kiss of the mod hammer.

For how long? Roll 1d6.
1. Mods just tell you that you're luckily—you should have been punished but weren't in order to demonstrate how lenient, kind and open-minded they are. But watch out, they've got their eye on you, mister!
2. Two and a quarter days.
3. Until the next full moon.
4. Bolonga.
5. It's being discussed backstage.
6. Asking how long you're being punished for just demonstrates your unwillingness to meekly accept your oh-so-deserved punishment—add another week. Want to ask again, scum?

Announcement by mod. Roll 1d6.
1. "We're temp banning LovedByAll for violating the new rule that no screen name can begin with the letter L. To forestall any questions about when and why this much-needed new rule was created, I'm closing this thread."
2. "If you don't like this ruling, please feel free to contact the site administrators, who also don't care."
3. "I can't expected to act like a grown up—I'm a volunteer. And it's so damn hard! People expect things of me because I stepped up and accepted responsibility. Now fuck off and die, your moronic asswipe of a Republican! P.S.: D&D sucks and your mother is a bad lay."
4. "Here comes the mod hammer! Let's the public and conspicous ass kissing begin!"
5. "You dare to question the will of the gods, mere mortal? Ha! I smite thee with my godly peenar and consign thee to the presence of RPG Pundit!"
6. "You always questioned my whimsical, half-baked decisions and that got old. I never liked you, but was always willing to barely tolerate your presence so I could point you out as an example of how tolerant and good-natured the moderators are when other people questioned our behavior. But now you've suggested I'm a bad moderator. Although you've never broken a rule, your comment hits close to home and now I'm going to have a wee public tantrum and ban you. Goodbye."
