SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Where to send a complaint about the site (Post it here or PM an Admin?)

I was wondering where the site/admins prefer complaints re: the site should go? That is post it here in the Help Desk forum or via Private Messages directly to an Admin.

I ask as I think some of the users of the site might be interested discussing why a particular post (or any post for that matter) was closed.

Historically, if someone has an objection to a Mod action closing a thread or banning someone, they post some kind of "Wtf" thread here in Help Desk.
Even the the "cutting edge" storygamers for all their talk of narrative, plot, and drama are fucking obsessed with the god damned rules they use. - Estar

Sorry, only just saw this. You can do it either way. If you want to post it here, go ahead. If you have some kind of concern about doing that, send me a PM.

I'll note that it's common practice on theRPGsite to close threads if they veer off-topic, or if they're already off-topic to the forum in question.
Also, threads on the Pundit's forum are routinely closed if I deem them to not be of interest to me, or if they stop being of interest to me after a while.
