SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Why am I not allowed to place a moderator on my Ignore List?

Actually, no. But if you know the answer, why'd you ask?

Because I don't think there is anything the administrators have told me that I couldn't have lived with out ignoring.

I guess I'm confused here. My reply was to your statement:

QuoteBecause they tell you stuff they don't want you to ignore.

I'm not sure where you're going, but I think I'm missing it dude. Sorry.

Quote from: James J SkachI point you to this thread, and the information that SP found here.

That's as bad as anything you've accused the Story Games crowd of doing - especially since he's an Admin.

As always, I leave it in your capable hands.
So what do think might happen James? A poster on this site has stated he is purposely out to disrupt the site but he is a friend of Pundit. Honestly, what do you think will be the outcome? After all, it is just a "persona"...;)

I have to tell you Bill, I'm unsure.  I will say that how he handles this breach will certainly inform my opinion of him, and by extension, unfortunately, this place.

If he comes down on the Admin in question, I will see it as a relatively consistent position.  If not, then I have to question his motives and rethink my time here.

EDIT: And please don't anyone think I'm putting this out as a threat.  I'd hardly consider myself important enough to go down that road.

Shrug. That's your choice. But there are things they want to tell you that they don't want you to ignore - warnings, rules, when the board will be down, etc.. That's why you can't set admins to ignore.

Okay I misunderstood what you were saying, my fault dude.

Considering what Pooka posted on another board, intentionally seeking to troll and disrupt this board, whatever his motive, is not something you can do and still retain Admin status here.

I'm sorry Pooka but you really left me no choice. I hope that you'll still be willing to help out with the technical advising areas of the site.

Don't you guys think your taking this stuff a bit too seriously? :deflated:

The last thing I want, playing around or otherwise, is to undo what was done, so I'm going to go scurry down a rabbit hole again.

It's a good avatar, though. You don't get to see much DiTerlizzi artwork for RPGs these days.

Much truth here.  I'm not sure I'd have been able to stand playing it, but there was a lot of really good artwork in the Changeling books from what little I saw of them. (one pic in the Satyr book that was so beautiful that it almost made me want to buy the book just for the one pic.)

Take care Nothingland. You were always one of the most ridiculously good-looking sites on the internets, and the web too. I\'ll miss you.  -"Derek Zoolander MD" at a site long gone.
