Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is there any way to activate the Quick Reply at the bottom of thread by simply clicking on the text box instead of the Reply icons you see on every post?

Obviously not a crushing issue by any means, but it'd be ever so keen.

No idea what you're talking about. What do you want to click on?

Towards the bottom of every thread there's the Quick Reply box.  This box is inactive until you click on the "Quick reply to this message" icon that's at the bottom right of every post, next to the quote button.

I was merely wondering if there was a way to click on the Quick Reply textbox, or maybe have a button installed on the Quick Reply toolbar, to activate it.

You can click on the '+' button on the right of the Quick Reply header at the bottom of the page to open in. Is that what you're talking about?

No, but we're getting there :)  The '+' just collapses or expands the Quick Reply panel.   When the Quick Reply panel is expanded, the text box is locked -- you cannot type anything in the textbox until you hit the Quick Reply icons that are on the posts.  Once that icon is pressed, you can start typing in the QR box.

What I'm asking is if there's a way to enable the QR text box by either clicking on the QR text box itself, or maybe putting a QR icon by the panel itself.

At the end of the day, I'm just making a mountain out of a molehill, but I've been accused of that before :)

While I'm sure it is possible, it will just get lost when we upgrade the system, so rather than worry about it now, it's best to bring it up again after our upgrade whenever that happens to be.

Ah, sounds good to me.  Thanks for the time and good luck with the upgrades -- I've been in the industry long enough to learn to fear them ;) !

This feature is now active, but may be buggy.

So far so good!  I guess I'll have to go buy Two-Fisted Tales now as thanks :D

(I was planning on getting it the next time I go to the FLGS anyway...)

Cool. I think you'll enjoy it. Was it at your FLGS already? I ask because only few received early copies, as they have only just gone into regular distribution.

As of a couple of weeks ago, Games Plus in Mt. Prospect, IL had a couple of copies in stock.
