Can't make people reveal their 'old' identity, but if you're so inclined, please let us know!

Aside from Changeling-related names (I was tempted to be "otherkin", but that would be a bit tosh), I think most of us are going to be too shaken up after the loss of our old home to be anyone really different.  Wait 'till we really get settled in, then you'll have to wonder who's who.

I have been around travelling here and there. My dissatisfaction led me to explore the glories of the unknown and the mysteries of the underworld. I am finding peace but I am incomplete. What I need the most at this point is a firing of this old imagination and a sparking of the companionship I used to have through gaming. It is for that reason that I am here.

Were it me, I would start in longer threads in the RPGSite.com forum (http://www.therpgsite.com/forumdisplay.php?f=15).

Since this is about RPG, I took the name of a weird NPC in my D&D campaign. I hesitated between my sphinx druid and my psionic goblin James Bond, and went with the latter.

Boring pedantic details follow:

At one point in Nutkinland, it was Nicephorus Pedanticus but it was too long for one of the board versions and was a pain to type for logging in whenever I lost a cookie.

The name was inspired by the Byzantine emperor Nicephorus Phocas, who was a good general but paranoid and lousy leader.  It's also the name of one of my more memorable characters, a half elf druid who Really liked animals.  Through the course of in-game jokes, it became known that he could hide largish objects in various orifices through "druid relaxation techniques" including an iron flask of Bilarro.

It was also a dusty know it all character in a pbp which is where my original avatar came from - I'll have to track that down.

Their extremely, extremely rare.  For a couple of reasons, first of all Unseelie redcaps utterly despise them and hunt them down at every opportunity and second the Seelie redcaps like to fight against impossible odds.

I thought about changing my username, but since I can't hide my erections at every mention of Unisystem I didn't think it would do much good.  Besides, I've been Maddman for ten fucking years now, no sense changing this far in.  :)
