SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hello!

I have been having trouble seeing my husband's posts on this forum, even though I have found a post where someone is replying to his post.  Its making it very hard for me to cyber-stalk him (jk).  Are posts from my IP hidden from me when I am not logged in, or are newbie posts invis, or does my problem exist between my keyboard and my chair?

hgjs

What is your husband's board name?

If you would rather not say that publicly, you can send a PM to myself or brettmb (the other tech admin).

tellius

heya .. I am her hubby. Name is tellius =)

Toriko

I just watched as my husband, tellius, posted in this thread, but I can't see it when I refresh.

hgjs

The issue should be fixed now.  It seems that tellius triggered an automatic anti-spam system, but looking over his posts I'm not sure which of them did it.

Woot! I am a spam! :haw:

And here I just thought I wasn't interesting enough.

Thanks hgjs

What the hell?  The stupid system just added you again... this thing is going berserk.  Thanks for calling attention to this issue: we may have to alter some settings.

Before this, I had noticed and removed Tellius from the spam-system on TWO different occasions. That antispam-bot is just convinced that Tellius is a spammer, for reasons I can't understand.

Looking back on my posts I can't see anything that would trigger even an over-zealous filter. I wonder if my current IP has been black listed previously.

Is tellius a make of social drug? I know that's set off anti spam before...

tellius

Not that I am aware of. It is the name I made up a long time ago when I was playing a MUD in the pre-MMO glory days.

Let's start from scratch. As of now, report any further problems in this thread. We'll see what happens.
