This site looks to me an excellent mix of what I've been wanted. I hope it turns out as such. I'll be elsewhere as well, but this will be hard to avoid. :)

No, just not interresting in postwhoring, never was. I am not my postcount. It was just a coincidence I ended up with the highest postcount on NTL, it was brought about by me being unemployed, poor, and bored. But now that I can spread my time between, let's see 1...2...3...4 or so boards it won't really go that high, except maybe on SO, but Knightcrawler has me beat there, with nearly 200 posts a day. :D
For a while there I had a truly epic postcount on one of the iterations of NTL. People automatically point and accuse "postwhore", but it was just that I was getting into a lot of long, running battles with Izrador across multiple threads.
Yes, he was playing me like a violin, and until I realized that I was posting like mad to slap him down whenever he showed his face. Then I got over it and a ton of people passed me on the postcount-o-meter. It's not like I cared.
