SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I asked if it was Ok to post a rifts thread here, and was told it was.

So I posted it and got a message telling me it wouldn't be visible unless a mod approved it.

Now, I added a link to it to a site with a game product advertised on it, so, was the post delayed until the link could be verified as not pertaining to how many circus midgets a woman could stuff into herself or something similar?

This was the first link I had a "must be approved" flag raised on, and it had a link so I was wondering if that was it.

Sorry. It's the software. If it thinks the thread looks like spam, it waits for mod approval. I can't figure out why it chooses to do this only to certain threads. I've approved it.

Happened to me before, Cylo. All cool. :)

Ok, I was just wondering if there was an approval delay on links to make sure a relative newbie wasn't going to post a porn link and people get something disgusting involving...never mind.

I could understand a function that maybe delayed a first time link from a newbie until he was vetted and marked as trustable.
