SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Something truly worth banning

So atheists have been abused, treated badly by clergy or they\'re stupid.They\'re just being trendy because they can\'t understand The God Delusion because they don\'t have the education, plus they\'re just pretending to be atheists anyway. Pundit you\'re the one with a problem, terminal stupidity.

Nobody's wiggin' out about my simian, right? I mean, it's a gorilla! A gamer gorilla! Who loves Christmas! Nothin' wrong with that.

Looks like Iron Heroes to me.

Mythic Russia, I think.

By the way, CA, my son really likes your avatar.  I try like hell to not let him see what goes on here, but looked over my shoulder one evening and went into a giggling fit.

Score one for the Gigantopithecine!

Heh...I'm rather fond of it myself. Nothing like 10 minutes with Photoshop to perk up a picture of a gorilla.

Yo Christmas Ape:  You should rotate the books that the gorilla's holding.  Mix it up every once in a while right?

How is Mythic Russia, anyway?  Never mind, I'll go start a thread in RPGs.

That's a damn good idea. Hmmm. I'll do it after I get home from work.

For now, sleep!

If you don't like someone's avatar, put him on your IL. Sheesh.

Now thats one of the sillier reasons I've heard to use an ignore list.

Remember once, on another forum, Doktor Teufel had one of his animated  avatars up. It was an oscillating image - that really hurt my eyes when I read his posts. I sent him a private message  about that . (the colors he chose were a bad choice...)
He was quite reasonable and changed it to a different animation the next day.

Really miss his animated avatars - they were usually pretty amusing.

It sucks that all my posts so far have been in Help Desk or Off Topic. I'm a loser.

Anyway, I use Firefox and the Adblock Plus extension to block obnoxious avatars on the various forums I go to. I just thought that might be helpful.

The Mosaic Oracle is on sale now. It\'s a raw, open-sourced game design Toolk/Kit based on Lurianic Kabbalah and Lambda Calculus that uses English key words to build statements. If you can tell stories, you can make it work. It fits on one page. Wait for future games if you want something basic; an implementation called Wonders and Worldlings is coming soon.
