This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Every site i frequent seems to be having a problem in the last week or so with spammers. The last thing i expect to see on BI's WFRP boards is a "Big tit film" thread. They get everywhere...

I moderate a couple of sub-forae at RPGHost and Lord has been spamming the same stuff there for months - I ban his userid, he comes back with another a few weeks later. Almost definately the same guy posting on RPGNet too. I got his IP & providers range and Pundit is going to block that entire subnet from accessing RPGSite. I've forwarded the same info to RPGHost and RPGNet in the past, but they cant be arsed to do anything about it.

Yep. First time I checked it was a cybercafe, although the last IP used doesnt resolve to anything right now.

The IP range has been banned. Here's hoping we didn't have any real fans over in Lagos... sure, it sounds improbable but consider that at least four of our users (one of whom is an Admin) are from Uruguay... :p
