Dwight, I'm taking you at your word that your kid is messing around with your account. It's bad enough that weird nonsense is getting posted to threads under your username, but now I'm getting PMs from you with meaningless phrases in them. Please do something about it.

I, too, have received PM's from Dwight of this nature...

If you're getting PM spam, report it to myself or brettmb.  Removing spammers from the boards is one of our duties as tech admins.

I don't believe it's his son, if you have that good typing and spelling then you can also make coherent paragraphs. So either blakkie's having schizoid "word salad" phases, or he's just taking the piss.

I saw where he said it, Pundit, but I can't recall where it was.

He did say it publically- in response to a question I asked. I don't recasll which thread it was in, though- but it did happen.

But I still don't understand those two nonsense posts, nor the one above.  Are you drinking and posting, or are these keyboard flailings physical side effects of the transformation from Blakkie to Dwight?

Doh, that was all me that last post. I went to clarify something and I screwed up the edit. No, I don't have the excuse of being drunk. :deflated:  So again:

My son isn't typical.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlexia  He's very sharp, in or close to savant range. But he lags in the skill of forming sentences. He doesn't learn grammar like you or I did at that age.  He started reading at 3 1/2. He's just short of 6 but he already knows what 'noun', 'verb', 'past tense', etc mean. That's why those sentences are as coherent as they are, 4 months ago they wouldn't even follow basic sentence structure. He can put together phrases, even sentences, if he is very concentrated on one idea. But as soon as he cuts the flood gates loose everything comes flooding out in a jumble. He's improving, improving fast, as he usually does when he becomes interested in a subject. But he learns things in a different order and different ways.

He also sometimes has difficulty understanding the gravity of a directive he's given. That's why he didn't pick up the first time I told him to stop using my login, the first time I was a bit sloppy and failed to obtain his agreement.  Not sure why he ever started, he's been good about switching away from it voluntarily for months now. :shrug: His exact motives can be difficult to fathom at times. Such is autism.
