Thread titles not showing up in the Role-Playing section...

Jeff(or other technical types),

 When I woke up this morning and browsed at the site -  something weird happened or is happening.

When I click on the Role playing section - NONE of the the thread titles show up in the left hand column , the usual spot for clicking on a thread to check it out. All those and rectangles are blank . The boxes that say who posted last are still there, same with number of posts, etc...


 Its just in the left hand main title column.

Other Topics and Help Desk look normal.

Could you post the URL of where you were at?  Was it http://www.therpgsite.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=2 ?

 Yes - Thats exactly it .

 I just clicked on all the other sections as a test and they all appear fine  - except that one...the main roleplaying section.

For a second data-point:  I'm seeing no difference in the site this morning.  Works fine, just like usual.

Maybe a CSS problem being tripped up by Koltar's individual browser settings, rather than a fundamental database one?  Yeah, I'm just yammering ... diagnosing from a distance is tempting but usually worthless. :(

 Thanks for trying help - but my settings are the same I've had since June - when I got this new computer.

  Every section except the roleplaying section is appearing fine.

For what it is worth, I also noticed the same behavior from the RPG forum this morning.  It is normal now.

FYI, I am running Firefox 2.0.0.6 on Mac OSX.

i had the same thing this morning, but only the "forge poll blah blah" thread was affected.  then when i read the last post, where pundit closes it due to drift, everything went back to normal.

it happened at home, firefox 2.something i believe.

The problem was that the image for the closed thread with new posts was missing - I guess no one ever created one for the rpgsite template. Once you viewed the thread, it was no longer new, so it used an existing image.

I uploaded a new image, so it should work fine now.
