This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Somehow after a search I ended with a list of threads where the leftmost column for each instead of having an icon, had a description like "You have posted N times to this thread in the last

What you saw was the tooltip for that little envelope icon that's usually there.  What probably happened was the image itself didn't load, so your browser simply displayed the image tooltop in it's place.

Next time it happens, choose the menu item in your browser to "View Source," copy the entirety of the source, and PM it to me so I can track it down if it's a problem.

Ah, thanks, I'd never noticed the tooltip before, I guess I just never hovered my mouse over the icon long enough to see it.

Not a problem, Brett, probably just a network glitch that caused the phenomenon J Arcane described.

Nice feature, BTW.

Read the site using Lynx (the test browser).  Yes, I'm serious.  I do that at least some of the time and it works pretty well.
