This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

For one in particular, once was quite enough, in my opinion.  YMMV.

I think the first two are pretty creepy (the first way more than the second), too.  My vote would be to axe them.

Why not just get rid of all smileys that aren't well... "SMILEY".

The 18 examples that I can see to the righthand part of the screen when I respond to messages should be basic enough for anybody that wants to use them.

Can we get rid of the nonsmiley users next? :)

My favorite is the third one.  I missed that one when I was perusing the list.  It requires a double take and then you're like "eeeww".

We also need a long list of cabin-boy smileys. Again, does anybody know how you make smileys?  Are they just animated gifs or is there a special format?

They're just animated gifs. Check out //www.smileycentral.com if you like smileys. They've got bajillions of them (although none that are anything beyond racey IIRC). Last time I checked (at least a year ago) they also had some "make your own" smileys you could add text to.
