SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I am kind of embarrassed to ask this, but I can't seem to figure it out on my own.

How do I create a link to a single post only?

I've seen it done by others here on this forum, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how.

Right click on the little number to the top right of the post. It's in parentheses. Click "copy link address" or whatever. Paste it somewhere. There, you have a link to a single post.

There are two ways of doing it, with different results. One, you right-click on the number of the post on the right-hand corner of the post, and Copy Link Location. Then paste wherever you need it.

Second, you actually click on that number, and you access the single post. (try it now). Then, on the very top, right-hand of the window, you see "Thread: Noob Question". Right-click on the title of the thread there, and Copy Link Location. This is the link not to the single post, but to the post within the thread. So with that you can link to a particular post within a thread, as opposed to a single post in its own window.

Darn it!  The post number is hyperlinked?  I never noticed that before.

Thanks, brochachos! :)
