This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

There is no need for a single person to moderate all that is funny or insulting.  There are more then enough people with Ego's here to take up that job for free with no associated title.  

Furthermore if one person did try and write "The definitive guide to all that is funny or insulting" to the persons on this (or most) forums.  They would be driven insane.

So to clear up any confusion and put it rather simply.  Whisper mode means people are left out of the game and missing chances for pot shots.  This sort of underground subversion conflicts with our delicate ego's.  So for such things a PM should be sufficient.  Those we can accept as part of the normal functions of a forum.

Since I  agree with all your above post, (which eloquently stated what I was trying to say in a not so well perveived joke) I suppose I misunderstood your first post because I thought it continued somewhat Aelflin's one (Ego  indeed :o ).
