Just try being an annoying bastard. I mean, think of how annoying Dominus Nox was, and how as a result for a few days or weeks a large part of therpgsite revolved around him.

I dated a doctor once, she told me about her psych placement and people with "personality disorders".
"What's a personality disorder?"
"Basically it means they're an annoying bastard."
"Oh. I didn't know that was a treatable psychological condition."
"It isn't treatable. But they still take up a lot of your time, and that's really their intention. They just like attention."

So apparently being an annoying bastard in real life also helps you have the world revolve around you.

The best part is that if one die continually rolls poorly and you have to smash it into powder with a hammer to make a lesson for the others, it's not a total loss.
