This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Making a "Thorn Tree" Thread Here

I'm writing up quite a lot of stuff for d6 Star Wars and other games and I see that PDFs of up to 195 kB can be posted on this site. Now if I started a thread where anybody can post tabletop RPG related PDFs to show off their work, would that cause a site slowdown if the number of PDF attachments grew to be larger than a certain number? I'm asking if this type of thread could cause problems and what circumstances would it do so.
"Meh."

I was thinking more along the lines that the PDF size limit here would mean tighter writing and crafting of stuff for use.

I'm liking what I'm reading about Box, though.

I've used it a few times before, works great and is fairly easy to get your head around. There's no good reason or advantage to limiting ourselves to smaller file sizes really, unless we're unduly straining the local servers. Box wants to do more for free, one for everyone in the audience I say. 195kb is nothing these days.

RPGPundit

I would prefer if people posted links to download sites rather than posting the PDFs here directly.

Of course, it would also be VERY important that great care be taken not to link to anything that is not "legal" to download.
