Gentlemen, I've received a PM hinting at me that perhaps the person who registered here as Cessna is not the real Cessna from RPG.net.

I tried to see if the IP matched to any other user (so, if it was a sock puppet) but there was no IP match, at least.  

I'd really like it if there was some way that the Cessna of RPG.net could let me know if he is the owner of the "Cessna" account on theRPGsite?

Why not give the guy the benefit of the doubt? It's not like since he signed on he's been undermining the place. Though if you just really had to know, you could ask him to zip you a message from his admin address at rpgnet.

I dropped him an email with a link.  Just mentioning that so a dozen other folk don't do the same

I haven't seen "Cessna" being disruptive or engaging in actions that might be taken as online character assassination of the "real" Cessna. I also haven't seen Cessna complain at RPGnet about this, either. All this leads me to think he's the real deal, but if you want to be sure, just email him.

I wouldn't stress over it either way.

I mean, it could very well be cessna, looking for posters here who are on the purple pisspot so he can rack up some more bans by banning people for 'mod sassing' him and other mods over there on this forum.

But so what if it isn't cessna and just someone wanting to make him look like an assbite? So what? It's the price he pays for being such a prick.

The person who PMed me said he'd been accused by RPG.net mods of imitating Cessna on here, which suggests that at least some of the RPG.net modclique believe that theRPGsite's Cessna isn't the "real" Cessna. I would really need to know whether they got this belief from the "real" Cessna himself (ie. its true) or if they're just wrong and don't know what they're talking about.

If the person who signed up as Cessna here is another poster here, sockpuppeting RPGnet's Cessna, I want to know.  

But yes, it is curious that, if "our" Cessna was a fake, he hasn't actually done anything to cast the "real" Cessna in a bad light. On the other hand, I'm left wondering why the hell RPG.net modclique members would be under the impression that he's not real, if he is.

Yes, it is me.  No, I'm not here to represent rpg.net or talk about it. (Or to carry any sort of grdge from here to there - I come here to get away from there...)  I'd really, really prefer not to.  I'm really only here to talk games - or, to be more accurate, to read about games without only lurking - since JimBobOz called me out for lurking a while back.  I'm only talking about it in this thread because I want to show that yes, it is me.

Also, I've told the other mods over there that I've registered here, so I'm a bit surprised they'd call "sock-puppet."

This all started because I got an email from the Animalball brothers, where they shared with me an email they got from Eric Brennan.  The relevant part of the letter is the following:

So apparently Eric was saying that Animalball would no longer be allowed to advertise on RPG.net because he claimed Brasky was registered as you on this site.  At least, this was the only forum the Animalball brothers could think he was referring to.

I certainly think opening TT to public viewing would certainly be a step back in the right direction, as well as make practical sense, since closing it did absolutely nothing to stop people like me from finding out what was or was not being talked about there.

Well, if you're really cesspool from rpg.net, it was kind of stupid, arrogant and hypocritical of you to come here given that a lot of users here have been banned from the big purple toilet unjustly, you've mocked and antagonized a lot of people over there who made valid criticisms of the modclique and people have been banned from there simply for referring to this site and/or rpgpundit, so it's natural a lot of users here would feel justified hostility towards you, especially for coming here after banning so many people from rpgtoilet....
