For the record, if anyone wants to change their ID, they should give notice to the mods via a PM.  In fact, if someone wants to and has good reason for doing so, they can get their names changed (the way Jimbob/Kyle did).  Don't just mention it on some single thread where a mod might or might not read it, and might or might not notice it.

And obviously, any mod who is told of some development like this should probably mention it over in the Smoking Room, to avoid any confusion.

Thanks for the explanation, Dwight.  That's kind of funny to think that your account got hijacked by your own son.  Joking aside, I can imagine why he would be interested in coming on to the site and posting stuff.  The language going back and forth between people here must be fascinating to him, even more so when he sees daddy getting into it.

Just make sure that you are very clear to him with what is and isn't swinespeak so that he posts in the right sub-forums.

Also, you should probably warn him about the dangers of being a cabin boy.

Or just use the password the software forces you to have.

And once he's able to sit and focus long enough I'll get him going on RPGs, just so he knows what Good Right Fun and Bad Wrong Fun looks like in person. Right now he doesn't have the interest and without interest 15 minutes is an enormously long time for him, physiologically speaking.

I don't know, didn't bug me at all, just confused me.  Now that I know, I wouldn't consider it an inconvenience.  There are a lot more posts that are equally meaningless and often a lot more annoying and those are done by people who should know better.
