SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Promote the Erick Wujcik forum?

Since it's the Official Forum for Eric and Amber, can we promote it to higher up on the list, under the games header? I don't regularly check it, even though I like both of those things. I think I probably would if it was featured more prominently on the list.

I liked Eric, and much of his work helped form who I am as a gamer-but really is this necessary? I get the need for a tribute and all that, but frankly it's all kind of silly, and gawdy to me.

It's already highlighted. There will be a special link on the new site, but anything else starts to become tacky in my opinion.

I would be all in favour of doing whatever is necessary to promote the Amber & Erick Wujcik forum, and if I believed that putting it up higher in the Forum's hierarchy would make a big difference I'd be all for it.  But really, I don't think that'll make a huge difference.  The changes that Brett has already talked about will be good; but mainly the biggest thing that can be done to promote the forum would be if people went out there and made sure that people know about the forum's existence.

Someone could, for example, make sure that the forum was present in the links section of the wikipedia entries on Wujcik and on the Amber RPG entry.
