This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Frankly, I am still a bit put out that we can't have a decent Off-Topic forum. I understand why the politics forum had to go, though I disagree with it still. Frankly, I get burned out on 'RPG-talk', but I like coming here and commenting on shit. The relentless push to 'remain on topic' gets exhausting.

So my options are to force myself to read the two hundreth thread on Roll High vs Roll Low (or whatever) or just stop coming by until I forget that I've got a place to talk shop.

That's it? That's my options?

Fuck you and your cheerleaders.  I am complex, I contain multitudes and I'll be damned if I let you turn me into a caricature of a gamer-geek, only able to hold a reasonable conversation on his lesbian-stripper-ninja ranger who hit level 503 after killing and eating Thor and seducing Venus with his 40 Charisma... and nothing else.
For you the day you found a minor error in a Post by Spike and forced him to admit it, it was the greatest day of your internet life.  For me it was... Tuesday.

I don't see that we need an actual off-topic forum; I think we do fine between "other games", "media and insiration" and "the pundit's forum".

I'd rather there weren't any more off-topic talk than that.
