I signed up for TheRPGSite to say hi to an old friend from college.  
What I have found is that the discussion in the RPG forum is quite intelligent, and quite fast (I received a response for my very first thread within 3 minutes).

The thing about RPGPundit - I have read a lot of his blog, and while I find him abrasive, I do agree with a lot of his opinions in principle.  I find most of what he says amusing in the end (but then again I find auto accidents amusing, so that says more about me than him).  He reminds me of a slightly farther to the right Neil Boortz.  
What I REALLY like about him and the mods here - they don't seem to have an agenda that they are trying to push or force on the users (unlike The Other Place I won't mention).  There also is a good lacking in Whiner Posters (The Other Place is full of them) - people who come online to whine about 'problems' just to get attention; they don't really want solutions.

So there, I said my piece.  And I plan to stay as long as you guys will have me.

Welcome.  The place reminds me a bit of a working class bar in New York.  People will be upfront and frank about their opinions, but you really have to work hard to get tossed out.
You should go to GaryCon.  Period.
