I just changed my email address for the site, and when I clicked the link in the verification email I was taken to the "Thank you for registering" page instead of the "Your password has been changed" one.
I also changed it at the Kenzer & Co. (http://www.kenzerco.com/forums/index.php) boards, which run on vBulletin 3.6.8, so it'll probably go away with the upgrade, but I figured I'd mention it as something to watch for.
Thanks for mentioning this. Aside from a different welcome screen when you clicked the link, have you experienced any problems?
No. I did wonder for a brief moment if it thought I had re-registered and made me lose any data, but everything was fine.
