Check your personal settings under User CP. Maybe your preferences automatically reset when banned (just a wild guess here).

I did.  It seems that sometime between when I first set it to 200 or 100 or whatever it was way back when, and when I got banned, the system has been changed so there's a limit of 50.  

When I logged back in my setting had been reverted to default, but it'll only let me turn it up to 50.

Used to go to 200.
