This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hi,

does anyone have any experience with the Hackmaster module Temple of Existential Evil and would like to tell me something about it? Is it any good? There's a good chance I can get a hold of it... but I couldn't find any reviews online.

Cheers, Marcus

I have it, but haven't run it. I like the way it's written, and find the notion of "existential evil" more interesting than "elemental evil." Overall, I have to admit that I think it's a better adventure than the original. I think it needs a bit of work - particularly in regards to the "existential evil" motif - but so did the original.

4e definitely has an Old School feel. If you disagree, cool. I won\'t throw any hyperbole out to prove the point.

Thanks for the input! I think I'll give it a try and run it with C&C :)
