This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Well, *this* should be an interesting campaign

Knightsky

We went through char-gen for my C&C game last night.

What do my two players come up with?  A half-rakshasa thief/mage, and a winged human paladin/bard.

I have no fucking idea what to do with the two characters, or what direction the game will wind up going, but hell, at least the ride should be interesting...

A riff on Martin and Lewis (as in Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis). The adventures of a comedy duo, a singing straight man (and who's straighter than a paladin) and his "goofy" sidekick, wander the roads from gig to gig. Wackiness ensues. Could be played for laughs or deadly serious; the performing duo is both a reason for being together and a justification for travel and "adventures", whatever those might be.

Or not.

Isn't it obvious?

THEY FIGHT CRIME!

It could have been much worse.  I once got a drow pimp, a transexual paladin/bard, a 3.0-munched wild elf archer cleric (of that deity that hates drow) and a gnome illusionist whose player had apparently memorised Welch's List
