This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Showdown the Wild West RPG
« on: February 06, 2021, 10:19:20 PM »
Hello, folks!  Some 20 years ago or so I started working on my own historical Old West roleplaying game that I called Showdown.  At the time I had been playing a lot of Boot Hill 3rd edition and wanted something a bit more advanced.  Well the project was shelved quite a while back but now I've dusted off my stack of notes and began reconstructing my game.  It is a slow tedious process because I want the history aspect to be authentic.  I'm making headway, though, and I would like to discuss development with those interested.  I started up a Facebook page if anyone would like to have a look.
