Title: RQ OGL Indicators
Post by: GRIM on August 31, 2006, 04:04:43 AM
I've run off a quick couple of RuneQuest branded OGL compatibility buttons which are available on my site for anyone that wants them.

However, given that OGL usually means d20 I think they'd still need to be accompanied by some text or something, if used.

Anyone's welcome to use 'em though I'll probably spruce them up when I get around to publishing my own stuff for it.

Can you post them here?  I couldn't find them on your site, and I don't really like downloading zips.  I've been burned before by them...

Not really, because they're large .tif files.

you can also use Mongoose's RuneQuest logo, if I read their OGL policy correctly.

As with the d20 licence things are a bit stricter if you want to use their logo.

Yup.  One thing might be agreeing on a terminology.  Your second logo terms it "OGL Percentile Roleplay" -- along with a distinctive runic font.

On my SRD Collection page:

http://www.darkshire.net/jhkim/rpg/srd/

I posted the SRD labelled as the "Runic SRD".  Since the OGL rules themselves have runecasters, rune lords, and so forth, I don't think that's a problem.  However, I'd welcome suggestions for a better term.

I think either 'percentile' or 'Runic roleplaying' could work.
You'll never get people to agree on a single OGL RQ indicator though, nobody did for d20 despite several attempts.

I kinda like "Runic OGL" (though either could work, I was just going in favor of brevity), but anything with the a runic symbol or font on it would be a plus.
