Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Play Testers for GMing Toolbox Wanted

Hi,

I am at the tail end of the development for my mini-system the Elthos "One Die System", and I need Play Testers to try the system out in Gamesmaster Mode, and provide feedback.

Elthos ODS is a medium weight traditionalist style RPG that comes with a rule book (that needs a bit of polishing, but overall is reasonably complete), and a web application that helps considerably with the GMing of the system.   It lets the players or the GM generate Characters, equip them, skill them, etc, as well as build out your own World using the World Weavers Development Studio, which includes creating Places (and up to 9 levels of sub-Places), Campaigns, Adventures, Treasures, etc.  The system is fully configurable, and allows the GMs to create their own Races, Equipment, Mystic Powers, Skills, etc, all of which can be shared between Gamesmasters on the site.  The best thing about the ODS, maybe, is that the numbers are very small, since the system runs using 1d6, so at the gaming table combats are light-weight, fast and energetic.  And dangerous (depending on your configuration - you can make the game easier by setting the config to "easy" mode, or harder by doing the opposite).  The feedback I've gotten from my play testers here so far has been quite positive, so I'd like to extend the invitation to GMs out there to try it out.

During the "Closed Beta Phase" the system is available for invitees who are interested in taking a look, trying it out for a month or two, and posting back observations, bug reports, and the like.  If you want an early peek at this development, let me know, and I'll have you up and running shortly.

Thanks!

:)
