This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hey all!

This is my first time posting a homebrew idea on a forum like this, but I figured that bringing this idea to an RPG forum would be be better than my PnP group echo-chamber. So, I'm a huge fan of the persona franchise, and I adore World of Darkness, so like many people in my position, I knew I had to work on a WoD conversion for the game. I decided on Demon: the Descent, not only because I enjoy the whole God-Machine thing, but because the idea of your persona being a manifestation of your inner demons was a really neat idea. I'm still working out the kinks of getting everything to work, but I've come up with a modified character sheet that combines elements of persona, Demon: The Fallen, and Demon: The Descent. I would love to hear all of your thoughts on the idea, as well as ideas on how you would improve it. I've included the first page of the Character Sheet below.

The PDF of the sheet is too big to post, if you are interested in seeing the full sheet Feel free to email me.

Well, it is hard to have any opinion on the character sheet, as i cannot read what it says, except for "Persona".

I assume the Attributes follows WOD-standard (only the used words are different), that the row to the left is the Talents/Skills/Knowledges, and that the rest is Other Traits, like renown, powers, backgrounds and such.

I know very little about Persona, but from what little i know, and that i own Demon: The Fallen, the idea sounds really good.
Also, you have made the same "mistake" i tend to do:
You just present something mostly unfinished, and asks for opinions and suggestions, often resulting in very little responses, if any, at least on this site.
The questions "what do you think" and "what can be improved" is very often not enough, or it might even be the totally wrong questions.

Your idea is really good ... or at least i think so, but due to me not knowing much of the Persona games, i might not be able to help much.
However, i have an elaborate fantasy, and i dare say that i'm pretty smart, so i might be able to help you a bit anyway.

So....
You have a good idea, you have a working system (the storytelling system/WoD - Demon), and a preliminary or finished Character Sheet.
Do you know where to go from there?
I may not dislike D&D any longer, but I still dislike the Chaos-Lawful/Evil-Good alignment system, as well as the level system.
;)
