This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

i suggest using opend6 as core game engine as its free and legal to do so, then customize that to fit your vision. most of the work is already done for you.

Heya, is there some kind of list of OGLs that are available for use in my game? And how does it work? Do I need to use a disclaimer? And are there points to be made if would use my own game system?
There’s a listing of systems here:

If your rules are going to be complex then it may be time-saving to use an existing rules system, like d20, BRP, or Fuzion (all of which have OGL implementations). If you’re making something very simple, then it may be better to use an original system.

It’s really going to depend on what you’re trying to accomplish. In my experience it’s easier to start simple and go from there. A lot of systems are complicated and that makes it harder to get into them, whereas a simpler system is easier to get into and easier to add on to later.

If you'd like, please contact me through Discord or email so that we can discuss this further in order for me to fully understand all this.
Of course, only if you feel like it. It's ok if your priorities lie elsewhere :)

Thanks for the link!
