SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Looking for feedback to help develop a digital P&P tool

Hey everyone!

We're a small team of game design students from Cologne, Germany, and began developing our own pen and paper RPG system, namely No Pen, No Paper. It's a new and different take on the subject, as our system is entirely powered by an app, while still retaining key aspects of traditional pen and paper games, such as role playing, dice rolling and creative freedom for game masters and content creators.
Our goal is not to revolutionise the genre, but to add to it. We want to create a game that doesn't rely on a myriad or rulebooks and tables, where complicated calculations are done in a split second and all you have to worry about is how you will slay that damn dragon.

Right now we are doing our homework, meaning: research.
Therefore, we are looking for interested people who would like to aid us on our journey. Whether you are a complete beginner or the wisest veteran, all opinions are welcome and we hope you'll share a moment of your time with us.
We set up a survey to find out what you value in pen and paper RPGs that you can answer, whether you have used the app or not.

Link to the survey

In case you're interested in our App or want to contact us, you can find all information in the survey. Unfortunately, forums tend to classify our post as App spam or whatever if we provide you with the download links here. Our main focus is just to do our research

Thank you for your time and interest, we're hoping to hear from you!

Done, and done. Don't forget to share the app when it's finished. Actually sounds kind of exiting.

No problem, sent a PM as well. I wouldn't mind following this if possible. Throw me a Twitter or something.
