SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Done being Indie. Need a new term.

The main problem with government is the difficulty of pressing charges against its directors.

Given a choice of two out of three M&Ms, the human brain subconsciously tries to justify the two M&Ms chosen as being superior to the M&M not chosen.

I dub thee Gamera! Oh that's taken. Hrms. Allegarizerium! Because you will always be unique that way.

I think to me, its like someone who likes Vanilla needing a special name to distinguish themselves from someone who likes chocolate. Yet really they say "I like vanilla" and that's as useful as any label.

Quote from: Levi Kornelsen;259494Nicely accurate.  Seems un-catchy, to my ears, though, and I'd like to be able to make noise with it.

I've said a couple of times that I don't want an independent revolution; what I want is a mutual liberation.  Which is why I was tending towards "mutual".  But that's kind of un-catchy, too, y'know?

The partial ownership of something by everyone involved is usually denoted by "Co-op" or "Cooperative."

Example: Your Games Now is an RPG Co-op vendor with all game companies selling things there having a say in how the sight is run (partial ownership?).

So maybe you are a "Co-op Game Designer?"

(I suppose there is also "Commune," as in "Communal Game Designer," but that may be a bit more extreme than what you are going for and may get associated w Communism.)

The Red Menace! :)

What about "Cooperative Designer", in that case?  I think a two-word phrase is generally a bit catchier and memorable.
